The Art Behind Plastic Surgery

BOTOX® Cosmetic

Botox Services in the Seattle area

"Worry lines," "crow's feet," and "laugh lines" are examples of what are called "dynamic" wrinkles because they form as a result of muscle activity. ("Static" wrinkles, in contrast, are formed from sun damage and aging).

Surgical procedures and skin peels are not optimally effective for dynamic wrinkles because they don't address the cause of the problem. BOTOX® Cosmetic is a safe and simple aotion for dynamic wrinkles, such as the ones that form between the eyebrows, in the forehead, and around the eyes.

BOTOX® Cosmetic works by relaxing the muscles that cause expression lines. The overlying skin smoothes out after BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment, while facial expressions remain unaffected in untreated areas. BOTOX® Cosmetic is given in a very brief series of tiny injections. And, the effect usually lasts 3 to 4 months. BOTOX® Cosmetic has been used safely and effectively for many years.
