The Art Behind Plastic Surgery

The Staff

Lori Hirsch, Patient Care Coordinator

I joined the practice in 1999 with experience in the medical field since 1980. I love helping people make educated choices regarding cosmetic surgery planning. I have three grown children and two beautiful granddaughters. My husband and I are active. We enjoy hiking, biking, and snorkeling. I write poetry and short stories, and my desire is to be a published writer.

Sara Hart, Reception

I joined the practice in 2000. As a Medical Assistant, I do a number of tasks in addition to answering phones, scheduling, and keeping the office organized. I have two grown children in the Seattle area. I enjoy an active family life and love Seattle Seahawks games.

Robin Thomas, RN

I joined the practice in 2005, after 15 years working in acute care hospital settings. I really enjoy my current role, helping to create a safe and predictable outpatient surgical experience for patients. It is wonderful to be part of a staff that shares a collective goal of providing high quality medical care, in a personalized fashion. Out of the office, my husband and I enjoy staying busy with biking, hiking, and generally being active in our community of Mukilteo.

Julie Bielser, RN

I joined the practice in 2003 and have been a registered nurse since 1985, with 20 years of experience in plastic surgery. I have a busy life keeping up with two very active teenagers and a house full of pets. I thoroughly enjoy my job, helping patients through their plastic surgery journey. My interests are photography, sports - specifically Washington HUSKIES and Seattle SEAHAWKS football.

Kim Odekirk, Practice Manager

I joined the practice in 2000 and have been in the medical field since 1985. Having a smooth running practice with a focus on quality care delivered by a cohesive, happy staff is my goal. I have two children, one still at home. I enjoy gardening, traveling to Washington's wine country, and spending time with family who reside in the Seattle area.

Janet McAuslan, MA

I joined the practice in 1996 with a degree from the University of Washington.  I love helping others and strive to make an excellent surgical experience for all of our patients.  I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 27 years, and we have two active teenagers.  Away from the practice, you can find me on the soccer field cheering for my boys from the sidelines.  I also enjoy traveling, singing, and the Seattle Seahawks.

Alicia Boyd, Medical Esthetician

After more than 18 years in some of Seattle’s most elite salons, working runways shows from Milan to New York, and being honored by Allure magazine as Seattle’s Best Makeup Artist, I consider it my personal mission to help people match their inner beauty with their outward appearance. Working with Dr. Baxter has helped me take that philosophy to the next level, especially after a personal ordeal with cancer. I was so inspired by the struggles I saw women going through that I founded a nonprofit organization called Beauty over Cancer (, dedicated to providing free skin and hair services for cancer victims.
