Tabitha has several years of nursing experience in a highly demanding acute care setting. Prior to joining Baxter Plastic Surgery in 2017, she traveled throughout the US as a travel nurse caring for a variety of patient populations, including burn and pediatric patients at a level one trauma center in Seattle. While working with this population Tabitha immersed herself and spent the next four years gaining invaluable nursing and management experience working first hand with Plastics and Reconstructive teams and as a Case Manager.
Nursing was a career change for Tabitha, and prior to moving to Seattle in 2007 and obtaining her degree in nursing, Tabitha worked in partnership with her older sibling in the launching and development of a multi-location legal business in Northern California. There she acquired skills and knowledge in business development, marketing, and management.
Tabitha fulfills her role as a team leader by pursuing the highest standards of patient advocacy, education, and team development. She believes the foundation in leadership is communication, personal accountability, and shared decision-making.
She would describe herself as a life lover, truth teller, and fitness focused. Tabitha has a passion for physical fitness and the outdoors, and on any given day you will often find her jogging along the lake listening to her favorite bands.
Tabatha‘s current professional goals include continuing higher education, nursing leadership development, and education and training in injectables.
