Preservé® Breast Augmentation in Seattle

For many people considering breast augmentation, the concerns that come with traditional surgery give them pause: general anesthesia, weeks of restricted movement, discomfort during recovery, and the worry about what happens to the chest muscles afterward. Preservé® breast augmentation in Seattle offers a different path. At PHASE Plastic Surgery & Longevity, our board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Megan Gray, stays at the forefront of innovation and is prepared to help you determine whether this next-generation option aligns with your goals.

Dr. Gray uses her extensive experience in breast enhancement surgery to evaluate each patient. During your consultation, she will discuss how Preservé® compares to traditional options, walk you through her surgical approach, and explain how Motiva technology enables her to deliver natural-looking results.

Your Consultation and Surgical Experience

At your consultation with Dr. Gray, she will take the time to understand your desired size, shape, and profile. She will assess your tissue characteristics, chest wall dimensions, and skin elasticity to recommend the implant and placement strategy best suited to your frame.

Our practice operates in-house surgical suites adjacent to our office, enabling us to perform your breast augmentation and meet your follow-up needs in a single location. Dr. Gray will schedule follow-up appointments to monitor your healing and answer any additional questions as your Preservé® breast augmentation results refine over the coming months in Seattle.

How Does the Preservé® Technique Work?

Rather than making a larger incision and cutting through tissue or muscle to create an implant pocket, Preservé® uses a small incision beneath the breast. A channel separator is then used to open a tunnel within the breast tissue itself, above the chest muscle. A balloon is inserted into this space and inflated to form the pocket, and the implant is placed using a no-touch technique before the incision is closed. Because no muscle or natural ligaments are cut and no cautery is required, the structural integrity of the breast tissue is maintained throughout. The procedure uses Motiva Ergonomix implants, the same implants used in traditional augmentation at PHASE Plastic Surgery & Longevity, in sizes ranging from 150 to 320 cc.

The pocket is created within the deeper layer of breast tissue, above the muscle, using blunt separation rather than dissection. A Preservé® breast augmentation procedure can be performed on Seattle patients under sedation without general anesthesia or a breathing tube, which itself changes the nature of the surgical day considerably.

What Are the Advantages of This Approach?

The benefits of Preservé® stem directly from what the technique avoids. Because no muscle is cut and no general anesthesia is required, recovery is substantially faster than traditional augmentation. Most patients return to normal activity within one to two days. Beyond speed, patients experience less pain, less total downtime, and preservation of both chest muscle function and nipple sensation. For someone whose hesitation about breast enhancement has always centered on recovery or the idea of significant surgical trauma, this technique removes many of those barriers. A Preservé®  breast augmentation may also be combined with a breast lift when appropriate, giving Seattle patients who need both procedures the option to pursue them together.

Is Preservé® the Right Fit for You?

The Preservé® technique is designed specifically for individuals in Seattle who have never had a breast augmentation before, as prior surgery changes the tissue environment in ways that make this approach less predictable. Ideal candidates are in good health, have realistic expectations about the size range the technique accommodates, and are looking for a less invasive path to augmentation. Dr. Gray will evaluate your breast tissue, existing volume, and aesthetic goals during your consultation to determine whether Preservé® or a traditional approach will serve you better.
