The Return of the IDEAL Implant as Serene
In May 2023, IDEAL Implants ended operations, citing financial concerns. The company ceased delivering its proprietary structured saline implants, impacting patient warranties but not the devices.
The Serene Saline Breast Implants, previously called the Ideal Breast Implant, are now being offered by a larger company, Bimini Healthtech, that acquired IDEAL Implant, Inc. These saline implants have been uniquely engineered to feel more natural compared to previous implant designs.
Designed with an innovative structure, the Serene implant controls the movement of the saline and reduces folding and wrinkling with internal support. This cutting-edge design delivers a more natural look and feel with safety and assurance for patients who feel more comfortable with a saline implant over a silicone implant.

News for Sientra® Breast Implant Patients

Tiger Aesthetics announced it has acquired the breast implant business from Sientra® on April 2, 2024. Tiger Aesthetics wants to demonstrate its commitment to the industry, patients, and breast implant surgeons.
To show their commitment and unwavering confidence in the Sientra® product, Tiger Aesthetics will make no changes to the Sientra® Platinum20® warranty—the industry’s longest and most comprehensive breast implant warranty. They will continue offering the same 20-year warranty for all gel implants at no cost to ALL Sientra® patients, pre- and post-acquisition.
As a privately owned manufacturer of medical products and devices, Tiger Aesthetics is committed to delivering new, innovative products that meet the needs of aesthetic practitioners and their patients. Tiger Aesthetics is relocating the Sientra® production facility to the primary manufacturing site in Franklin, Wisconsin as an essential part of their “made in the USA” implant manufacturing strategy.
Motiva® Implants Expected to be FDA Approved Soon
While not yet commercially available in the US, Motiva® breast implants are available and approved for distribution in over 80 countries across the globe. Currently, Motiva® breast implants are undergoing clinical investigation by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). They are only available in the US for patients as part of a 10-year clinical trial at the present time.
As the Motiva® breast implants represent some of the most advanced implants available, we anticipate they will soon be approved as studies show they have an excellent safety profile.
